Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein 1 (MCP-1, CCL2, HC11, monocyte chemotactic and activating factor, MCAF, monocyte secretory protein JE, small-inducible cytokine A2, SCYA2) is an 11 kDa glycosylated chemotactic factor. MCP-1 augments monocyte anti-tumor activity. It naturally occurs as both monomer and homodimer, and it binds to CCR2 and CCR4 receptors. MCP-1 is chemotactic for basophils and monocytes but not neutrophils or eosinophils. It stimulates mast cells and basophils to degranulate. MCP-1 is elevated in many autoimmune disorders and is a metabokine, having functions in both the immune and metabolic systems.

MCP-1 Singleplex Products
