  • When applicable, achieving dilution linearity within the quantitative range of the assay

Instrument Training

This training is provided at no charge with instrument purchases and covers all aspects of MSD instrument operation. Training is also available for new operators at existing accounts.

We offer training on the following instruments:

Online software training tools are available for DISCOVERY WORKBENCH, including video tutorials, quick reference guides, and software manuals. View training

If you wish to supplement the online training tools with a live training workshop, an MSD field application scientist will run an individual or small-group training at your facility, covering basic and advanced data analysis functions. Training can be custom designed to cover requirements specific to your operating environment. In-lab trainings are limited to four participants and require access to a computer with DISCOVERY WORKBENCH installed.

Simple Training Process

  1. Contact an MSD account manager to request training
  2. We will schedule a planning meeting to:
    • Set a training date and confirm attendees
    • Review reagents needed
  3. A field scientist will conduct the training session at your facility
  4. We will record and send training certificates for each successful participant
