The V-PLEX Mouse MCP-1 Kit is optimized for long-term and multi-site biomarker studies that require reliable, reproducible results with lot-to-lot consistency. The V-PLEX Mouse MCP-1 Kit enables the sensitive detection of native MCP-1 in multiple sample types including serum, plasma, urine, cell culture supernatants, and PBMCs. MCP-1 Analyte

Description - Mouse monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (CCL2, GDCF-2, JE, SCYA2, MCAF; Gene ID: 20296) is chemotactic for monocytes and basophils and is a key regulator for infiltration of tissues by monocytes. MCP-1 is produced by a variety of cell types, especially after oxidative stress or stimulation by cytokines. It augments monocyte anti-tumor activity. MCP-1 naturally occurs as either a monomer or homodimer and binds to CCR2A and CCR2B, splice variants of the CCR2 receptor.
