IP-10 Analyte
Description - Mouse interferon gamma-induced protein 10 (CXCL10, IFI10, SCYB10, INP10, gIP-10; Gene ID: 15945) is produced by monocytes and is chemotactic to monocytes, NK cells, and T lymphocytes. It has antimicrobial and antitumor effects in vivo. IP-10 shares the CXCR3 receptor that is expressed on activated T cells with the related MIG (CXCL9) and I-TAC (CXCL11) chemokines. However, antibody neutralization studies demonstrate that their signaling is non-redundant.
Disease Focus - Hepatitis C and HIV infections, atherosclerosis, type 1 diabetes, arthritis, and multiple sclerosis.
Application Area - Inflammation, cytokines, and chemokines
