Description - NHP monocyte chemoattractant protein 2 (CCL8, HC14, SCYA10; Gene ID: 574179) is a member of the CC family of chemokines and binds to at least four different receptors – CCR1, CCR2B, CCR5, and CCR8. It is chemoattractant for various immune cells including NK cells, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, eosinophils, and basophils. MCP-2 is highly expressed in skin.
