U-PLEX Human IL-29 Assay Overview
The U-PLEX Human IL-29 Assay maximizes your flexibility to design an experiment that measures IL-29 alone or multiplexed with MSD U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs, or a combination of both. U-PLEX assays demonstrate high sensitivity, excellent precision, and up to 5-logs of linear dynamic range. Plates are read in less than 90 seconds on any MSD instrument, using no complicated fluidics or calibration procedures.

IL-29 Analyte
Description - Human IL-29 (IFN-λ1) is a class II cytokine and type III interferon produced by TH17 cells, with limited similarity to the IL-10 and type 1 IFN families. IL-29 activity is similar to IFNs but is less effective and engages fewer cell types. IL-29 binds to heterodimeric receptors composed of IL-10Rβ and IFN-λR1 subunits expressed on monocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells, and shown to regulate the secretion of TH1 and TH2 cytokines by T-cells.
