U-PLEX Human IL-27 Assay

U-PLEX Human IL-27 Assay Overview
The U-PLEX Human IL-27 Assay maximizes your flexibility to design an experiment that measures IL-27 alone or multiplexed with MSD U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs, or a combination of both. U-PLEX assays demonstrate high sensitivity, excellent precision, and up to 5-logs of linear dynamic range. Plates are read in less than 90 seconds on any MSD instrument, using no complicated fluidics or calibration procedures.

U-PLEX Human IL-27 Assay Features
  • Simple protocol similar to ELISAs, yet uses less sample
  • Measures human IL-27 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants
  • Create custom multiplexes using a selection of U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs or both

Assay Format
  • Singleplex – includes MSD GOLD Small Spot Streptavidin Plates
  • Multiplex – includes U-PLEX multiplex plates
  • Both formats use the same assay components for efficient transfer between single- and multiplex configurations.

IL-27 Analyte
Description - Human IL-27 is a member of the IL-12 family of heterodimeric cytokines, and is composed of the EBI3 (Epstein-Barr Virus Induced Gene 3) protein and a subunit known as p28. IL-27 is expressed by dendritic cells and macrophages and binds to the heterodimeric IL-27R receptor that is found on T-cells and NK-cells. IL-27 induces proliferation of naïve T-cells, and synergizes with IL-12 to stimulate production of IFN-γ from naïve CD4+ T-cells.

Disease Focus - Sarcoidosis, graft-vs-host disease, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, coronary artery disease.
