The Ser/Thr kinase activity of glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) is inhibited following phosphorylation at Ser9 by Akt in response to growth factor or insulin stimulation of the cell. This kit provides assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of phospho-GSK-3β (Ser9) in human, mouse, and rat whole cell lysates.
