The Mouse IL-16 Antibody is a SULFO-TAG conjugated detection antibody for IL-16. It is the same detection antibody that is in the V-PLEX Mouse IL-16 Assay. Detection antibody is supplied as a 50X concentrated solution. Mouse IL-16 (LCF) is a 141.8 kDa tetrameric protein. Its expression by CD4+ and CD8+ cells is enhanced from exposure to antigens or mitogens. IL-16 stimulates lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils through the CD4 receptor which signals through intracellular increases of Ca and IP3, and activates the production of IL-2 and IL-15. It is involved in chemotaxis and regulation of transcription.
