The cAMP Kit is a competitive immunoassay based on the displacement of TAG-labeled cAMP. Elevated concentrations of cAMP proportionally displace the TAG-labeled cAMP for the quantitative determination of cAMP in whole cells and membrane fragments. The assay is also suited for high-throughput screening (HTS) applications designed to measure the activation and inhibition of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs).
