The Active GLP-1 (7-36)amide Kit provides assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of the amidated, active isoform of both natural and recombinant glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) in serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatant. The assay recognizes GLP-1 (7-36)amide using antibodies specific for amino acids 7 and 36 of the GLP-1 molecule. The GLP-1 protein sequence is 100% conserved across all species.
