Annexin A1

Annexin A1 (ANX1, LPC1, ANXA1) is a member of a family of Ca-dependent phospholipid binding proteins and has a molecular mass of 40 kDa. Annexin A1 inhibits phospholipase A2 and acts as an effector of glucocorticoid-mediated responses and a regulator of the inflammatory process. It plays a key role in the innate immune response, promoting wound healing and helping regulate T-cell differentiation and proliferation.
