U-PLEX NHP TNF-α Assay Overview
The U-PLEX NHP TNF-α Assay maximizes your flexibility to design an experiment that measures TNF-α alone or multiplexed with MSD U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs, or a combination of both. U-PLEX assays demonstrate high sensitivity, excellent precision, and up to 5-logs of linear dynamic range. Plates are read in less than 90 seconds on any MSD instrument, using no complicated fluidics or calibration procedures.

TNF-α Analyte
Description - Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), also known as tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 2 (TNFSF2) and cachectin, is a 25.6 kDa cytokine. TNF-α plays a central role in immune system development as well as in inflammation and apoptosis. TNF-α is mainly secreted by monocytes and macrophages and can induce apoptosis in some tumor cell lines. The homotrimer binds to the ubiquitous TNFRI, and to TNFRII which is restricted to immune cells.
