U-PLEX Human IL-23 Assay

U-PLEX Human IL-23 Assay Overview
The U-PLEX Human IL-23 Assay maximizes your flexibility to design an experiment that measures IL-23 alone or multiplexed with MSD U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs, or a combination of both. U-PLEX assays demonstrate high sensitivity, excellent precision, and up to 5-logs of linear dynamic range. Plates are read in less than 90 seconds on any MSD instrument, using no complicated fluidics or calibration procedures.

U-PLEX Human IL-23 Assay Features
  • Simple protocol similar to ELISAs, yet uses less sample
  • Measures human IL-23 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants
  • Create custom multiplexes using a selection of U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs or both

Assay Format
  • Singleplex – includes MSD GOLD Small Spot Streptavidin Plates
  • Multiplex – includes U-PLEX multiplex plates
  • Both formats use the same assay components for efficient transfer between single- and multiplex configurations.

IL-23 Analyte
Description - Human IL-23 (IL-12B) is a heterodimer composed of the p40 protein that is shared with IL-12, and p19, which belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. IL-23 is secreted by dendritic cells and macrophages, is involved in TH17 cell differentiation in a pro-inflammatory setting, and induces proliferation of memory T-cells.

Disease Focus - Crohn’s disease and other autoimmune disorders including psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease and certain tumors.
