R-PLEX Human CEA Antibody Set

R-PLEX Human CEA Antibody Set Overview
The R-PLEX Human CEA Antibody Set includes a matched capture and detection antibody pair and calibrator for the quick and easy measurement of CEA in biological samples. R-PLEX products leverage MSD’s electrochemiluminescence technology for better sensitivity and a larger dynamic range than traditional ELISAs. R-PLEX matched antibody sets enable the development of singleplex and multiplex immunoassays. Individual assays may be developed using MSD avidin- or streptavidin-coated plates. Custom multiplex assays with any combination of R-PLEX analytes, as well as R-PLEX plus U-PLEX analytes can be developed on U-PLEX MULTI-SPOT plates. CEA Analyte

Description - Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA, CD66e, CEACAM5) is a glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and intracellular signaling. It is normally produced in gastrointestinal tissue during fetal development, but the production of CEA stops or becomes very low after birth. In adults, an abnormal level of CEA may be a sign of cancer. The most common cancers that elevate CEA are in the colon and rectum.

Disease Research Area - Gastrointestinal Cancers

Application Area - Oncology & Cancer
