MCP-4

Monocyte chemotactic protein-4 (MCP-4, CCL13) is a chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils, and eosinophils. MCP-4 binds to CCR2B and CCR3. MCP-4 plays a major role in the recruitment of leukocytes in allergic and non-allergic inflammation. MCP-4 is involved in rheumatoid arthritis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
