U-PLEX Mouse IL-27p28/IL-30 Assay

U-PLEX Mouse IL-27p28/IL-30 Assay Overview
The U-PLEX Mouse IL-27p28/IL-30 Assay maximizes your flexibility to design an experiment that measures IL-27p28/IL-30 alone or multiplexed with MSD U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs, or a combination of both. U-PLEX assays demonstrate high sensitivity, excellent precision, and up to 5-logs of linear dynamic range. Plates are read in less than 90 seconds on any MSD instrument, using no complicated fluidics or calibration procedures.

U-PLEX Mouse IL-27p28/IL-30 Assay Features
  • Simple protocol similar to ELISAs, yet uses less sample
  • Measures mouse IL-27p28/IL-30 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants
  • Create custom multiplexes using a selection of U-PLEX assays, your own antibody pairs or both

Assay Format
  • Singleplex – includes MSD GOLD Small Spot Streptavidin Plates
  • Multiplex – includes U-PLEX multiplex plates
  • Both formats use the same assay components for efficient transfer between single- and multiplex configurations.

IL-27p28/IL-30 Analyte
Description- Mouse IL-27p28, also known as IL-30, is one monomer that makes up IL-27, the other being the soluble receptor EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus induced gene 3). p28 is homologically similar to CLC (cardiotrophin-like cytokine), and can dimerize with CLF (cytokine like factor 1). Both heterodimers (p28-EBI3, p28-CLF) are secreted by dendritic cells and macrophages and act on NK cells, mast cells, monocytes, and cytotoxic T cells through the IL-27R receptor which is composed of WSX-1 and gp130, as well as through IL-6R and gp130. p28 expression is upregulated by inflammatory stimuli, the resulting biological effects depend on which binding partner is also expressed, and which receptor is engaged.

Disease Focus - Rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Castelman's disease, multiple myeloma.
