Installation Instructions

1. Log into Windows as an Administrator
2. Copy the installer to the local drive
3. Close down DISCOVERY WORKBENCH if it is open
4. Double click the installer and follow the on screen instructions

Issues Addressed

• Fixed an issue that caused certain systems to sporadically fail to communicate with hardware for the initial connection, reporting error code 5606.

Additional Notes

• Repairing DISCOVERY WORKBENCH Software will undo the patch changes, but will not remove the entries in the audit log or patch information dialog. If DISCOVERY WORKBENCH is repaired, the patch can be reinstalled (this may require an uninstallation of the patch product through Add/Remove programs first)
• Upgrading DISCOVERY WORKBENCH Software to a newer version (included in the affected products above) will undo the patch changes, but will not remove the entries in the audit log or patch information dialog or the add/remove program. If DISCOVERY WORKBENCH is upgraded, the patch can be reinstalled (this may require an uninstallation of the patch product through Add/Remove programs first)
• Uninstall of the patch through Add/Remove programs removes the patch listing but does not undo the changes made to DISCOVERY WORKBENCH. If patch uninstall is required please contact MSD Technical Support.
