Rat Clusterin Kit
|
| Clusterin is a glycoprotein that is found in most mammalian tissues. The localized over-expression of clusterin at sites of tissue damage or stress indicates that clusterin acts as a molecular chaperone displaying cytoprotective characteristics. In addition, the marked induction of clusterin in several renal disease states suggest that clusterin may be a putative biochemical marker of kidney damage and disease. The Rat Clusterin Kit provides assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of endogenous clusterin in rat urine, serum, plasma and cell supernatant. |
